The Catalonian Wall Lizard, Podarcis liolepis is a very fast and nimble lizard from the Iberian Peninsula as well as parts of southern France. They are adapted to living in rocky sunny habitats and can often be seen basking on walls, rocks and trees.
A Master of Camouflage
These juveniles are masters of camouflage, with their coloration matching perfectly against the rock. They can be found in many colors, from browns and grays to hues of green or blue! Its flexibility, then allows it to escape predators and stealthy attacks from its prey.
